Although the toothbrush only has a USB plug, I really like it. To connect it into a wall, you will want an adaptor. Additionally, they provide a sheet of paper with silhouettes of 19 plastic bottle caps so we can see how many they are saving by not providing us with a wall plug—the equivalent of tossing 19 of those bottles in the ocean. “Reach us if you require a wall outlet,” it says.

That is absurd. My PC has USB ports, but they are beneath my desk, not in the bathroom. The cost was increased by $9 since I purchased a two-pack of USB to wall plugs (and presumably added 38 plastic bottles to the ocean). Although I dislike encouraging this kind of shoddy behavior, the electric brush is decent for the price. Just be aware that a wall outlet will require an adaptor to be added.

I’ve now used a Sonicare brush for three times, and I’m really wowed with how much they’ve enhanced it. My old e-series needed new brushes, and since a new 4100 was almost as expensive for a 3-pack, I decided that it was time to upgrade. I like the pressure warning and brush replacement light features, and my teeth feel strikingly cleaner. The sleeker body is also simpler to hold onto. I was able to get going right away because I had an unused USB charger.

I initially considered returning it because the brush head was so small that I could hardly get any toothpaste on it and because I didn’t feel as though my teeth had been thoroughly cleaned after using it. After that, everything improved after I purchased the Philips Sonicare Genuine C3 Premium Plaque Control Replacement Toothbrush Heads HX9042/65. Greater brush head size allows for more toothpaste storage, and these brush heads clean exceptionally well when using a sonic motion. Due to the tiny brush head that came with the electric toothbrush, I only gave it four stars. The toothbrush is excellent value.

This power toothbrush is deliberately sold without a power adapter. Yes, you read that correctly. Without purchasing a power adapter, you cannot use or charge this product. Who in the world has a USB outlet in their bathroom? Really, what a bunch of nonsense. This paper weight is being returned, and I’m searching for a different model. unbelievable.

I’m irritated by Philips’ attempt to emulate Apple by just offering a USB-powered charging station with NO ADAPTOR. They don’t have to buy separate adaptors for plugs from other countries, which saves them money. Although the majority of people don’t have USB connections in their restrooms, they argue that it is for sustainability. For other electrical devices, that makes sense, but not for something that is frequently charged in a bathroom?
