Being a detail snob and having my dream car that was filthy for a long time as a result of our awful weather made me upset. Immediately it started warming up, I decided to replace my old wash kit which I lost when they totaled my old car. I searched frantically for my old kit of $20 but couldn’t find it. Even though I was skeptical, I bought this kit. My fiancee was skeptical as well and almost fainted at the cost, and the loose foam blaster only made the skepticism grow. However, I decided to give it a try few days later after trying to no avail to fix it.

Surprisingly, it worked even better than my former foam gun. Though I filled it up as instructed, less than half of it was used for two rounds of cleaning. This makes me wonder why people run out of soap and foam quickly. The sprayer provided in the kit made soap rinse off and dry spotlessly. Everything looks brand new, was is easy to use, though the applicator was a bit weird to me.

After washing, I gave it my approval and then waited for my fiancee to wake up so I can show her the car. To my greatest shock, everything I have said times 10 was what I saw when I walked out that night. The car looked so good, much more cleaner than it have ever been from a dealer. When fiancee comes back the next day and I walked out, it looked way better and I have never been more proud of a car sitting in my driveway. I was deceived with the YouTube vids and cool graphics. To me, there are a lot of shortcomings on this product. The sufficient foam for the recommended amount on the bottle is not produced for snow foam wash. Also, what is the use of a starter kit that cost over 100 dollars and have no drying towel? . In addition, I think that adding tags to the microfiber towel defeats the purpose of it.

Not to mention the waffle weave towel that is cheap and thin. Furthermore, diablo wheel cleaner does almost nothing when diluted 3:1. In the same way, butter wax is no different than the $5 generic wax any other rival offers. In conclusion, beware of this product as it is costly but provides very little product.

After a month of owning this kit, here are my observations: The wash mitt has fallen apart and the dirt trap bucket insert has broken. Plus, the snow foam wash is barely enough for 2 washes and the foam cannon has no instructions. Although it was trial by error, it eventually worked out well. The detailer served as a dust magnet and smells very nice. It seems the product was made better before my order.

Failure to do so will leave lint all over your car.

Furthermore, only do one side of the vehicle if you are drying first with a leaf blower, then follow with a drying towel. I ignorantly blow dried the whole vehicle and the water dried so fast before I could finish drying with towel. As a result, water spots were left all over my Jeep.
