Questions and Answers from Customers
Question:
How many bottles does it take to flush a four cylinder system?
Answer:
From my experience, I can tell you one bottle is enough.
Question:
Is it suitable for aluminium radiators? Their website did not provide specifics.
Answer:
I have used it in aluminium radiators a lot of times. However, if the radiator is damaged, it might leak. In addition, I must say this a great product.
Question:
Can you use this for boats?
Answer:
It could come in handy in my ship. The mineral deposits on the lake side gets stuck on the boat. Therefore, closed loop on the coolant requires flushing with time. However, I would not trust much of the answer on boats.
Question:
Any instructions on how to use?
First, ensure your car is cool before you take the cap off. Then, open the flush and drain some fluid out before putting in the flush in your radiator. Drive the car a bit before draining all the liquid out. Thereafter, you can put the new coolant.

Wow! This stuff works much better than I expected! I just purchased an ’85 Cadillac Seville as a restoration project. I decided to flush out the radiator after I drained the system in order to replace all the radiator hoses, heater hose, thermostat, etc. I figured that it will not be a bad idea even though the antifreeze that I drained looked bright green and clean. I filled the system
with the bottle of Blue Devil and water from the garden hose. I left it in the system for about a week and drove the car about 150 miles (in the summer with no chance of temps dropping anywhere near freezing). I drained the radiator and was shocked that the water that came out was dark brown and there was brown sludge in the overflow tank! I have much
better piece of mind knowing that all that corrosion and sludge was cleaned out of the cooling system, probably saving me from overheating and costly repairs down the road! Blue Devil really cleaned out and opened up coolant passages in my vehicle.

I used this product on my Honda Civic. A lot of black liquid were seen dropping. I think those are the debris. It is so similar with coolant and will be difficult for one to differentiate between them. However, the “flush” label helped.

Once you follow the instructions, it comes out perfectly. However, it requires your heater core. I was fortunate enough to counter the flow of the core and clear it. In addition, it is important to note that no sealant work without connection to the core.
