Yes. The dash of my 2021 Jeep Cherokee is textured. I adored the mount I used in my previous car. Since then, even though I used new glue to move it to the jeep, it has come off three times. The same problem occurs despite my efforts to clean the dash and change the adhesive three times.

Question:

My iphone 6 is protected by an otter case. How thick is the phone’s mounting plate attachment? Will the plate once it is installed still fit my otter case?

It functioned perfectly when I placed the magnet between the rubber and plastic layers of a 2-layer Otter from the Commuter series. Then I purchased the Otter Symmetry series one-piece case, which does not have the Apple logo’s circular cutout. When mounted, this case is slimmer, making it more convenient.

I’ve bought 4 of these. I’ve bought this SKU from an actual store as well as through Amazon. Given that all MAGDMs are black, I am 99% positive that the B stands for “box” and not “black.” This SKU will be sent to you in an Awful plastic blister pack if you buy it from a physical retailer.

It functions as the ideal place to keep my phone even as I ‘m traveling, if I were to link it to the Uconnect port for Android Auto or just let it sit and link wirelessly through Bluetooth. I installed this just to the right of my radio tuning knob in my Wrangler. The magnet’s glue is incredibly strong and immobile.

Although the magnet is readily retrievable when I have to pick up my phone and go, it is powerful enough to stay tight no matter what obstacles I have encountered thus far.

When I don’t use the mount, my phone is so inconspicuous that no one notices it.

I would absolutely buy this product again and strongly suggest it!

I ordered both this product and the Scosche MPTFM MagicMount Pro XL since I wasn’t sure which one would work best for me. I had to use this one, the smaller of the two, because the Scosche MPTFM MagicMount Pro XL is a bit too large for my bicycle stem implementation. The fact that this one only has 4 magnets as opposed to the larger one’s 6 and stronger hold is my sole complaint. However I couldn’t discover a mounting bracket for the bigger one. So, even if it functions, it can’t adequately support my phone when riding a bicycle. Although it can’t be mounted correctly, the bigger one does. Having said that, I have the smaller one in both of my cars, and it functions just fine. Just six magnets, not just 4, would be nice.

There are no odd, misaligned components that could fall or cause the phone to be dropped. For several weeks, I searched for anything similar. Although the mount is low key and compact, the tiny footprint is just around 2″ x 1″. The magnet is really thin and sticks to the rear of your phone case. And it captures the phone and holds it when it goes close to that mount. In my Ram 1500, I didn’t want any piece of trash. I struck it fortunate with this.

This is the greatest; in the past month, I’ve purchased five various kinds, and all of them have lost adhesion owing to heat within a few days, however not this one. If I’ve had this one previously, and I’ve even moved cars, why did I spend my time purchasing others when it still latched to the dashboard?

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and while the glue is holding up in the sweltering Arizona heat, the magnet is still only somewhat effective. Although the rubber reduces friction, my small iPhone mini is likely being held in place by that. My phone is protected by a thin case, but it has trouble holding the phone in place; if I experience a bump, the phone will come off. It must be canted up in order for it to hold it. Doesn’t hold my spouse’s iPhone Pro Max at all.

I’ve experimented with a variety of magnetic mounts for my automobile. Undoubtedly, this is the coolest one thus far. Even in extreme heat, the adhesive holds, and you can adjust the angle of your phone by tightening the magnet. I’m really like this mount so far.

It was very practical to use with Onx offroad navigation to get where I needed to go without having to bother about my phone getting lost. I positioned the mount horizontally so it would sit flush on top of the dash of my 4Runner and positioned the mount there.

The mounting glue is really durable and remained in place whilst my Rav 4 was baking in the sun during the summer. The magnets themselves are the major attraction and absolutely live up to Scoche’s repute for producing attractive yet strong magnets. I’ve tested them all, and this mounting solution for my car is the best I’ve ever used.
