I attend a couple track days every year in my 2013 Mustang GT500. Every track day, my car breaks dead at the end of the day because it is so stupidly heavy. I have experimented with racing rotors, pads, synthetic break armor, etc. Always lose them myself. I changed from Ford’s fluid to this stuff, though, and it works! Not much of a help, but 20 extra laps were worth switching for. I will always be a fan. I’ve been using Ravenol for two seasons and plan to do so for many more.

I just replaced several important items, including new hoses and calipers, on our aging Volvo. The brake fluid I used to flush and replenish the system, Ravenol, is working really well.
Despite being Dot 5.1, it doesn’t appear to have any compatibility issues with the system that was initially powered by Dot 4. Be aware that Dot 5 fluids with silicone bases are not at all like 5.1.

I used this 5.1 braking fluid instead of the OEM DOT 3 fluid. This substance was nowhere to be found in the car parts store. Some people find it crucial to know that it has the highest boiling point and is claimed to be the best brake fluid available. The brakes appear to operate more smoothly after the system has been bled and this is installed. I did it more as an added measure of precaution because boiling or scorching the braking fluid is a significant safety concern.
